You will be responsible for managing all external communications for the company ensuring all the messages are consistent. You will plan and direct the creation of content (together with the international content team) that will enhance the public image of our business.

 

What a possible day could look like for you?

It’s 09:00 when you enter the office: you greet your colleagues and take your seat in the marketing team. “How was last night’s movie?”, Wouter (Head of Marketing) asks. You answer satisfactorily, pet Truus (the marketing office dog) and grab yourself a coffee.

 

You go through your email and remember today’s a big day: You need to present the PR strategy for the upcoming quarter. Last quarter went great for NL, but you want to go the extra mile, by expanding the PR focus (together with the content marketers) throughout Europe.  

 

You are well aware there are always a lot of projects going on at the same time but your upbeat and creative way of working manages to get everything done.

Requirements

What we’re looking for?

  • Developing an integrated communications strategy for the company incorporating PR, Marketing and Online.

  • Implementing a communications plan to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organisation. This includes giving direction to our content marketing, digital media and international PR strategy.

  • Developing relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline, including content partnerships.

  • Adapting local press releases for international syndication ensuring stories translate to differing international markets.

  • Monitoring press stories relating to our company and our brand and maximising opportunities for positive PR and playing down any negative PR.

  • Draft, review and edit press releases and prepare information for the media;

  • Build a strong PR network and maintain positive relationships with journalists, bloggers and other influencers.

  • Manage and monitor the output & performance of the international content team and give them direction for their day to day tasks.

  • You have at least 4 years of relevant working experience in the field of communications.

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field of study.

  • You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in managing projects across multiple markets is a pre.  

  • You like to ‘get shit done!’ and are a great team member, who is able and willing to teach others.

  • Native Dutch speaker is a pre, not a must.
